About Kat

As a social worker with an MS in communications, I’ve spent my career at the intersection of advocacy, health, and human resilience. My passion lies in helping people navigate complex systems, fight for change, and find sustainable ways to show up for what matters. But time and again, I saw the same pattern: the people doing the most essential work were the ones burning out the fastest.

I know this because I was one of them.

Like so many, I believed change required relentless effort—that pushing through exhaustion was the only way forward. Until I couldn’t anymore. Until I realized that activism, advocacy, and impact cannot survive on depletion.

That’s why I created InJoy Collective—a space where nervous system regulation is at the heart of sustainable activism. Where healing isn’t separate from action but fuels it. Where we learn to fight for what matters without losing ourselves in the process.

Joy isn’t just an escape—it’s a strategy. It keeps us in the fight. It makes the fight worth it. If you’re ready to move beyond burnout, to break free from exhaustion, and to take action in a way that truly sustains you—you belong here.
